Aware of the importance of maintaining sustainable tourism development, and adopting the principles specifically adopted in the World Charter for Sustainable Tourism, Living Place – Animação Turística is committed to acting based on sustainable management of its activities, through the adoption of commitments aimed at preventing, eliminating or reducing the impact of our facilities and activities, both internal and external, as well as optimizing the sustainability of actions and improving their behavior towards the environment.

For this purpose, Living Place – Animação Turística has adopted the following responsible tourism policy, through which it undertakes to comply with the requirements that regulate the effects generated by tourist activity.

We want to be distinguished by projects or initiatives that contribute to ensuring the preservation and sustainable economic appreciation of cultural and natural heritage and local identity, as a strategic asset, and/or environmental sustainability and/or that promote social responsibility in the tourism sector.

Therefore, we are committed to motivating and training our employees with training and awareness-raising actions on the principles of Responsible Tourism, promoting good environmental practices and participating in external activities, and informing both internally and externally about the company's environmental advances and actions.

We are also committed to fighting against sexual exploitation, or any other form of commercial exploitation and harassment, in particular of children, adolescents, women and minorities.

One of our main objectives is to improve sustainable management, assuming commitments to continuous improvement in all areas of sustainability: social, economic and environmental, as well as customer satisfaction. To this end, ongoing and future projects will be subject to sustainability and resource efficiency criteria.

Living Place Sustainable Policy

Living Place – Animação Turística is committed to incorporating environmental ethics into all activities in which it is involved, both as an organizer and participant, in order to make them compatible with environmental protection. In this sense, Living Place – Animação Turística should, whenever possible, establish partnerships at a regional or national level. In the development of its activities, and in compliance with the principles of environmental and sustainability policies, Living Place – Animação Turística is committed to:

• Comply with applicable legal provisions on environmental issues and other requirements considered relevant that Living Place – Animação Turística subscribes to, maintaining a relationship of dialogue and collaboration with the competent environmental bodies in its social surroundings;

• Promote the continuous improvement of the environmental performance of its activities, always aiming at preventing damage and promoting the sustainable use of environmental resources;

• Minimize waste production through measures to prevent production, reduce, reuse and recycle materials and equipment;

• Integrate environmental management practices into activities and encourage continuous improvement of environmental and sustainability performance;

• Promote and disseminate its environmental policy to the entire surrounding community, Companies and other Institutions, for their knowledge and respect;

• Increase environmental awareness, whenever possible, throughout the area of ​​influence of Living Place – Tourist Entertainment through Social Networks, Local Press, Partners and Collaborators.
