Anyone who is part of it is responsible for promoting the principles and commitments contained in this Living Place \u2013 Anima\u00e7\u00e3o Tur\u00edstica Policy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">All company activities must respect and guarantee the basic principles set out here, aiming at the continuous improvement of existing procedures and operations for the responsible acquisition of goods and services and improving management control systems.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\"><strong>Quality and Sustainability Commitments<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Living Place \u2013 Anima\u00e7\u00e3o Tur\u00edstica attaches fundamental importance to the responsible management of resources, with the following main principles being applied in all its purchasing and\/or contracting processes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Commitment to ensuring the quality of products and services provided and innovation;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We use seasonal produce from nearby local farms;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We promote the consumption of foods with a designation of origin from our location;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We developed \u201cgood practice manuals\u201d to avoid producing food waste and leftover packaging at events;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We don't buy more than necessary, preferring fresh, bulk food from small stores and with as little packaging as possible;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We encourage the use of compost;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We prioritize the use of biodegradable materials to make gifts for users, customers or employees of the entity;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking for new uses for waste products such as glass or plastic containers;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We correctly reuse leftover food;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We have recycling bins in both common and private areas;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We seek to purchase food in adequate quantity and quality, prioritizing natural and bulk products, with minimized packaging;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We share our experiences in \u201cSustainable Development\u201d on our social networks;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We have partnerships with allies who carry out sustainable actions;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We collaborate with companies that offer alternatives to plastics;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Assessment of all suppliers for the same purchasing process whenever possible, ensuring their correct assessment in the selection and contracting process;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Independence in the decision to purchase goods or contract services, which must be made independently of any personal, family or economic relationship that may cast doubt on the criteria followed in the decision-making process;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ethical and responsible behavior in relationships with suppliers, which will be developed with criteria of honesty, respect for people and social and environmental values.
